Welcome to the Amazon Angkor Restaurant-Theatre. To pursue the spirit of your visit to the temples we are happy to introduce you to another example of our rich cultural heritage: Traditional Dancing.

Located in the heart of Siem Reap, Cambodia and close to major hotels, Amazon Angkor features traditional Khmer cuisine together with a taste of Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, European and western dishes. In addition to this, we offer a taste of Cambodian BBQ plus a wide variety of Sukiyaki soups and individual cooking stations prepared for your viewing enjoyment.

Amazon Angkor has seating capacity of over 300 persons in a comfortable setting. Lunch set menus. Dinner buffet-style with over 40 dishes. Dine in a lovely open-air garden setting or in air-conditioned comfort.

Lunch is available from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and dinner from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm,
Performances start from 7:30 pm daily.

Apsara Dancing Performance

This ballet was performed at offering ceremonies and palace celebrations in the Angkorian era. The Apsaras, half-women half-goddesses, are heavenly dancers. Their circular movements and posied motions, the litheness of their gestures, symbolise their hovering between the cosmos and earth.

Coconut Dance

This popular dance from south-eastern Cambodia is performed at wedding ceremonies. Highly rhythmical and punctuated with shouts and the rapping of coconuts, it expresses joy in life and harmony amongst Cambodians.
